Friday Flash 55: The Carousel

10 Sep

Up and down; around and around; up and down.

It’s a never ending cycle.

Just as I think the madness is to end,

We’ve come full circle and start over again.

Up and down; around and around; up and down.

Stop this crazy spinning ride;

let me touch the solid ground.

I quit my job.

This is linked to Friday Flash 55 hosted by G-Man.  55 words, no more and no less to tell a story.

    This ended perfectly for the subject matter – abruptly. Oh, it would be lovely to jump off the carousel!

      Of course no farm animals were injured. They were happily fed and watered and pampered. The are my solid ground at the end of my day job. The picture is actually one from several years ago on a trip to The House on the Rock.
