Friday Flash 55: Bar Encounter

15 Oct

She sat at the bar waiting for her friend.  Finally, she decided to give up.  There was a creepy guy staring at her, and she needed to get groceries.  Another night would have to be ladies night.  Walking to her car, she heard, “Excuse me.”  Her heart froze when she turned and saw his beady eyes.

This is linked to G-Man’s Friday Flash 55.  A story or poem in exactly 55 words.  If you want to give it a try, just let G-Man know and he’ll visit.  Be sure to click here to find more Friday Flash 55 stories.

Just the word “beady” gives me the utter creeps! I keep hoping he just happens to have beady eyes and not horrible intentions!

Oooh… you can’t leave it there, although 55 does rather put a limit on things. :) Good one!

It’s enough to make a woman rethink the whole bar scene thing.

That’s why one shouldn’t hang around in bars. Neat 55!

Yikes I hope she’s got a 457 magnum with her. The word beady just makes this so evil. :) Very well done my friend :)
