happiness to me

newborn kid begins to nurse

playful bouncy girl

***

sweet newborn baby

resting at her mother’s side

sleeping peacefully

 ***

happiness alone

quiet reflection on life

peace grows from within

***

master of my world

creating my existence

happiness follows

walking in nature

surrounded by her beauty

peace and harmony

***

Today’s theme for Sensational Haiku Wednesday is happiness.

I’d have to say that the last haiku is my favorite. Sometimes it is so easy to overlook the simple joy that can come from just being in nature and experiencing it in all it’s raw beauty. Thank you for that glimpse and that reminder!
