Summer Shots

I was wandering around my garden enjoying the bright colors of the plants and blossoms.

When I looked inside the pumpkin blossom, I was surprised to see another entire world inside it.  The bees were completely oblivious to my picture taking.

Later in my walk, I found a monarch butterfly.  It was enjoying the thistle.

It posed for me.  Well, it was feasting on the thistle flower and ignoring me.  It worked the same as posing for me.

Along the edge of my garden the naked ladies suddenly popped up.

The ones on the other side of the garden, the lilies were fully open.

My summer photo shots are of the plants and butterflies and bees that I see in the gardens.

    • Thanks. I know we hear about the honey bees disappearing, but I’ve seen more around here in the last year or two. Or maybe I’m just paying attention now!
