Blue Sky

We’ve had so much rain this summer that I had forgotten what a beautiful summer day was.  This last week things have finally started to dry off.  Now I remember just how much I love the beautiful blue summer sky.

This is a part of Jenny Matlock’s Alphabe-Thursday Rainbow Summer School.  Make sure you follow the rainbow to read other blue posts.

  1. And we’ve had so much sun I’ve been craving a gray sky!

    Your picture is lovely.

I enjoyed just hearing about rain.

It made me feel a little, tiny bit cooler!

    Thanks for linking!

  2. We’ve had a bit of the oppposite issue here. No rain until last weekend and it didn’t let up for 5 solid days. It’s been like that since spring. Got a great one today. I’ve always loved the starkness of a dead tree against a blazing blue sky. Great capture.

    • I have one hill that I call “Dead Tree Hill.” I’m not sure why so many trees on it are dead, but our plan is to remove the dead ones and plant some new living trees!

  3. What a gorgeous sky. I posted pictures of our beautiful summer skies too. Although we’ve had plenty of blue and could use a little gray rainy weather!

  4. Nice we have to embrace those beautiful blue skies before they are gone….blessings…bkm
