August mornings in the Iowa countryside are truly beautiful. When I look to the east, this is my view.
With the hot days we get a lot of haze when the nights cool down.
Even the haze can be beautiful when it snuggles down into the hollows trying to avoid the sun.
I’m not usually a morning person, but getting up to milk at 6:00 is just about perfect to see these wonderful scenes right now. When we’re done milking, Jilly is ready to join the rest of the herd.
It wouldn’t be a country morning without a rooster crowing cock-a-doodle-doo to announce the arrival of the sun.
Hope you have a great morning. Head on over to Beth’s at I Should Be Folding Laundry to see more morning posts.
