Hands of a Carpenter

My dad has big, strong hands.

They are the hands of a carpenter.

His hands are no stranger to hard work.

They have cuts and scars from the work they do.

As he ages, it has started to become difficult for him to do some things.

I know that some day he will put down the hammer and saw.

I will never be able to come close to the skill of his carpenter hands.

This post is a part of Perceptive Perspectives.  Be sure to visit for more hand pictures.
