Something you hope to do in your life

Throughout my life I’ve had a lot of ideas on what I want to do.  Generally speaking, once I decide to do it, I jump right in.  I might have diversions (my child, a car accident, etc.), but I always come back to it.  I finished my bachelor’s degree after dropping out and transferring schools three times each.  I finished my Master’s degree.  I became a teacher.  I’ve created a wonderful farm home for my family.  My family includes all those animals that I spend most of my time taking pictures of and writing about.  I’ve pursued many hobbies and interests throughout the years–genealogy, candle making, wine making, canning, baking, gardening, sewing, photography.  My most recent is trying goats’ milk soap.  I just got my oils and lye delivered today.

The one thing that I really have focused on right now and have made my passion is turning my hobby farm into my full time support and job.  I want to do an events center and on farm market where I can sell all those wonderful hobby things that I love to do.  We’ll have a pumpkin patch with hayrides, a petting zoo, and all kinds of fun activities.  Of course, we’re still going to be a working farm with crops and hay.

I am trying not to go insane and continue my current “real” job to help pay off the farm and make this dream come true much faster.  One step at a time, I keep working towards it.  Because I always do those things that I hope to do, I’m certain it will happen.  I’m just so impatient to make it happen right now!
