Drawing Down the Moon

Gazing at the night sky

a gentle friend smiles back.

Coyly she darts behind a

cloud to veil her nakedness.

Singing her praises;

Inviting her to me;

Drawing down the moon.

She peeks from behind the

cloud and reveals her full glory.

Moon opens her arms and

tosses bright beams to

my waiting soul, received

as eagerly as a lover’s kiss.

Strengthening, cleansing, purifying

Renewing my feminine core

with her silvery glow.

  1. Such an excellent piece on perceiving the inner you. I love these lines:

    “Drawing down the moon.

    She peeks from behind the

    cloud and reveals her full glory.” Receive her “silvery glow” and embrace it fully!

  2. lovely love con luna.
    your description of the scene de amor is powerful & suggestive.
    Oh how I’ve loved her too.
    you’ve just revealed another facet of her love to me.
