A Love Poem

Talk about a giant leap outside my comfort zone!  I just don’t do love poetry.  Anyone that knows me will say I’m not the sweet sappy type.  I’d rather have a fifty pound bag of cracked corn than a dozen roses.  Well, here’s my best effort.

a longing gaze

sent your direction

thinking how great

when we are alone

can’t bear the

thought of sharing you

I can already taste

your sweetness,

my mouth closing against

your soft pudding parts

your rich chocolate color

a sight for my starved eyes

decadant thoughts swirl in my head~

the anticipation distracting,

I make excuses so that our

love feast can begin.

You are my one and only

brownie pudding

  1. lol! Love comes in many shapes and forms, Teresa, and your poem proves it! Now, could you please pass that scrumptious brownie through the computer screen? 🙂
