My great-uncle Roscoe when he was overseas in the Navy.

as I sojourn here

there is longing to go home

where my family waits

  1. I dont usually spend much time at home, but whenever I stay outside for a day or night I become homesick, that’s when I understand how much I love my cute little home, nice haiku, touched my heart 🙂

  2. Wow, this is so sad…I can relate~ I am homesick, especially in the autumn~ My husband is in the Navy and I so get the separation anxiety~ Well Done
